We're Working With Moor Trees to Restore Woodlands
We're pleased to announce that Bright Solicitors has partnered with Moor Trees, in support of regenerating native woodlands on Dartmoor and in Devon.
Moor Trees is a local charity regenerating vital native woodlands on Dartmoor, including Wistman’s Wood in response to the climate and nature crises.

Optional Green Levy for Clients
As our client, we invite you to support our journey and make a voluntary £9 donation to offset the environmental impact of your transaction and plant a tree with Moor Trees.
Your support will grow local trees and restore valuable habitats. Together we can breathe life back into Dartmoor.

Why are Bright Solicitors Doing this?
As a firm, we acknowledge that our business activities may have a negative impact on the environment. As a result, we have created a sustainability policy which aims to reduce our carbon footprint in all areas of our day-to-day activity.
The firm has pledged to achieve Net Zero status by 2050 at the latest. We have also committed to halving our emissions by 2030.
Our new partnership with Moor Trees is the latest step we have taken to benefit the local environment and community.
How and When do you Take Payment?
Any client who has agreed to leave an optional donation towards our Moor Trees initiative will have their donation added to their final invoice, along with their existing completion statement.
We’ll send every penny of your contribution to Moor Trees who will add it to our Client fund.
The funds clients raise will collectively be used to grow more trees and restore woodland on Dartmoor and surrounding areas.
Where Will my Donation go Towards?
Moor Trees nurture locally sourced seeds into saplings at our community tree nurseries at Dartington and Diptford, before planting them out in their thousands each winter. To date, they have planted 155,000 trees and created 151 new woodlands.
Funds raised through the Bright Solicitors Green Levy will specifically go towards restoring woodlands on Dartmoor and it's surrounding areas.
