Bright Solicitors Joins Chamber of Commerce

Bright Solicitors are pleased to announce that we have rejoined the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce has several monthly events, locally and regionally, which align with our ambition of getting back into the community after COVID. We’re extremely excited about the opportunities our membership offers.

Bright Solicitors was previously part of the Chamber of Commerce before the pandemic. Now that businesses have reopened fully, we feel it is the perfect opportunity to meet local businesses and to offer our support in helping everyone return to normal operations.

Matt Cook, Partner of the firm and head of our Commercial Department, said “Our renewed commitment to the Chamber of Commerce is a clear sign of our ambition to reach further and wider into the Plymouth business community. The recent pandemic limited our in-person business activities and resulted in much of our networking moving to online platforms. Now that Covid seems behind us, we are actively encouraging our staff to leave the office and meet people within the community. We look forward to establishing new relationships and partnerships throughout Plymouth and Devon, with the help of the Chamber of Commerce”.

Since our previous membership, the Plymouth Chamber has joined the regional group, which is now called the Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. This will benefit the firm by allowing us to connect with businesses from all parts of Devon.

The Chamber has recently gone through changes to its membership, goals and branding, which again aligns with the ambition of the firm. One overachieving aim of the Chamber is to help enable the growth of green businesses in and around Plymouth. While this aim is a theme in several events they run, the monthly Green Networking group brings together local businesses that have made commitments to improved sustainability, something which we hope to participate in going forward.
