Sam is originally from Somerset and moved to Plymouth to study LL.B. Law at The University of Plymouth, where he graduated in 2019.
Before working at Bright Solicitors, Sam interned in the Contract Management team at GE Aviation Systems Ltd where he was involved with drafting and reviewing contracts of sale, non-disclosure agreements, purchase orders and advised in-house counsel on the particular effect of Brexit on GE Aviation Systems Ltd.
Sam was then employed as a paralegal in the Agricultural and Rural Real Estate team, based in Exeter. Sam was involved with all aspects of the acquisition and disposition of land and property. Sam also dealt with other aspects of property transactions, such as adverse possession claims, applications for first registrations and business farm tenancies. During this role, Sam also prepared research reports and drafted articles which focused on addressing critical concerns for his clients, such as climate change and the agricultural bill.
Sam is currently studying the LPC/LL.M. part time and will be graduating in July 2022 with the desire to qualify as a solicitor.
