Bright Solicitors Proud to Sponsor St Luke’s Guiding Lights 2026 in Plymouth
Bright Solicitors is proud to sponsor the ‘Playful Puffins’ lighthouse sculpture as part of St Luke’s Guiding Lights 2026, a spectacular public art trail taking place across Plymouth in support of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.
Supporting local charities, community initiatives and organisations across Plymouth is an important part of Bright Solicitors’ commitment to the city. As one of Plymouth’s leading law firms, we are delighted to play a small part in a project that brings together residents, businesses, schools and visitors while raising awareness of the vital services provided by St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.
Delivered by St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth in partnership with Wild in Art

The city-wide trail features more than 40 uniquely designed lighthouse sculptures located throughout Plymouth, including the waterfront and many of the city’s best-known landmarks. Running until 13 September 2026, Guiding Lights aims to celebrate creativity, encourage community engagement and support hospice care across the region.
With our offices located in the heart of Plymouth, it felt particularly fitting for our sponsored sculpture to be situated close to us on the iconic Plymouth Hoe. Bright Solicitors is proud to sponsor the ‘Playful Puffins’ lighthouse sculpture which is on Madeira Road, near the Napoleon Memorial, overlooking Plymouth Sound and one of the city’s most recognisable coastal views.
The sculpture was created by talented artist Jordan Lauder
Jordan’s design captures the beauty, movement and wildlife of the South Devon coastline.

“In this piece I wanted to capture the beauty and movement of the ocean and the wildlife that lives and plays there.”
The artwork reflects the unique character of Plymouth’s waterfront and the rich marine environment that makes the city such a special place to live, work and visit.
An Incredible Plymouth Project
We would like to thank St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth, Wild in Art, Jordan Lauder and everyone involved in bringing this incredible project to life. The trail is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Plymouth’s vibrant community spirit while supporting a cause that touches the lives of so many local families.
If you’re taking part in the Guiding Lights trail, be sure to keep an eye out for Playful Puffins and discover the story behind Bright Solicitors’ sponsored lighthouse. Whether you’re a Plymouth resident or visiting the city this summer, the trail offers a fantastic way to explore local landmarks, celebrate public art and support an important local charity.
What’s next for the Guiding Lights trail?
Following 10 weeks on display, all sculptures will be auctioned on 1 October 2026, helping to raise even more funds for the ongoing work of St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.
Bright Solicitors is proud to support initiatives that make a positive difference across Plymouth and the surrounding communities. We look forward to seeing residents and visitors of the city experience this unique celebration of art, community and charitable giving.
