We’re delighted to share that Bright Solicitors has played a part in the recent acquisition of Curtis Marine Insurance by the Howden Group.
In an exciting development, Plymouth-based marine insurance broker Curtis Marine has been successfully acquired by the Howden Group. This move integrates Curtis Marine into the Howden Group’s expanding marine practice. Curtis Marine will join Euromarine, A-Plan Marine and Howden Fastnet to collectively form part of Haven Knox-Johnston, the UK’s leading marine insurance provider.
Bright Solicitors were pleased to contribute legal support during the transition. Our team were instructed by the old owners, Aidan and Sally, to act on the sale, which included preparing and advising on complex sale and purchase agreements and ensuring compliance throughout – essential elements in helping the deal progress smoothly.
