Bright’s Commercial & Corporate Law Team Marks Its First Year
Bright is celebrating one year since launching its specialist Commercial & Corporate Law team.
Led by Senior Associate Serena Frost, with support from Paralegal Alice Barrow, the Commercial & Corporate Law team advises owner-managed and privately owned businesses on a wide range of matters. This includes sales, acquisitions and mergers, company formations and restructures, shareholder agreements, commercial contract drafting and succession and exit planning.
A growing need
Bright Solicitors introduced the specialist team after recognising a growing need for accessible, commercially focused legal advice. The team supports businesses at every stage of their journey, from start-up and growth to restructuring, investment, and eventual exit planning.

Over the past 12 months, Serena and Alice have had the pleasure of supporting businesses across a variety of sectors and at different stages of their developments.
Alongside its client work, the last year has been about establishing and developing the team’s presence, with both Serena and Alice building relationships with local businesses and fellow professionals to continue growing the teams’ presence in the commercial legal market.
A milestone
Reaching the team’s first anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved in its first 12 months, and it is also only the beginning.
Serena and Alice are looking forward to continuing to grow the team, developing existing and new relationships and supporting more businesses and the individuals operating them through the opportunities and challenges of business ahead.
Reflecting on the team’s first year, Serena and Alice said:
“We’re proud to be celebrating one year of our Commercial & Corporate Team. Everyone at Bright has been incredibly friendly and supportive, and as a result, we’ve been able to achieve a great deal over the last 12 months, with lots more to come!”
“We’ve worked hard to develop the team and strengthen our position in the market, and we’re excited to see where we’ll be this time next year.”
