Serena Frost Joins as New Head of Commercial Law
Bright Solicitors is delighted to announce the appointment of Serena Frost as Head of Commercial Law, joining the firm as a Senior Associate.
Serena is a highly experienced Commercial Solicitor with a passion for helping businesses thrive. She works with start-ups, sole traders, charitable organisations, established companies, and owner-managed businesses to deliver clear, strategic advice on a wide range of commercial matters — from corporate formations, sales and acquisitions to shareholders’ agreements and business terms.
Serena joins Bright Solicitors having previously worked at a top 20 transatlantic law firm, before more recently taking on a senior role as in-house legal counsel for one of the largest independent accountancy firms in the region. This blend of private practice and in-house experience enables Serena to bring a well-rounded, commercial perspective to the table for her clients.
Serena has achieved dual qualification as both a Solicitor and a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx), after starting her legal career in 2013, having obtained a BA (Hons) in Business Studies at the University of Plymouth. She now gives back to the University as a mentor, supporting future legal professionals with guidance and encouragement.
A proud Devon Chamber Champion and enthusiastic networker, Serena is passionate about bringing local businesses together and champions collaboration across organisations in the region. She is committed to making the complex feel simple and the formal feel friendly, while also being a strong advocate for mental health, encouraging open communication and connection across teams.
